Child Has Cough, Difficulty Breathing, Losing Voice
I have a 14 week old baby and we gave been to hospital yesturday as she has a really bad cough was struggling to breathe but they did test took sample of snot and rules out bronchial or any other life threatening virus. Some other viral cold . There is a Juarez coming again today but I just feel they areas sing something . She is so not herself she has almost lost her voice and can hardly cry sounds very horse and high pitched. The vaporiser is definately helping

It seems that with your baby is suffering from both lower and upper respiratory tract infection. There are so many viruses which can lead to this condition. Most of the viral infection resolve spontaneously. So what we need to manage conservatively. So continue nebulisation, steroid also have some role in treatment. Once infection subsides the condition will improve.
