Child Has Loose Teeth. Swollen And Red Gums After Pulling Teeth. Gum Damage?
I noticed 2 of my sons teeth that were VERY loose. On one the top of the tooth was facing the cheek. I could see the permanent tooth under and when I pull both teeth it seemed the gum was attached to the teeth. Any way after the baby teeth were out the gums where the teeth were are now really swollen and blood red. Did I just damage his gums?! He just said it hurt when I was pulling but not any more. They were on the bottom and the same tooth on each side.
Hi. Welcome to HCM, It seems that while pulling teeth there might be having some infection in surrounding area and gums as well, giving rise to swelling, redness and pain. Consult your doctor and with one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines your son will be alright. Ok and bye.
