General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

When all the systems examined are normal, one could think of a condition called Trigeminal neuralgia which can give rise to pain extending anywhere from the face to forehead. This can be diagnosed by a neurologist with some tests and an MRI head to see if the trigeminal nerve is getting compressed due to any pathology.
It usually responds to anti convulsant therapy like Tegretol. You may discuss with your neurologist about this aspect.

Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for your questions related to your health. Wishing your daughter an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
