Child Waking In The Middle Of The Night And Complaining Of Headaches. Was A Good Sleeper Before. Reason For Headaches?
I have a 5 year old son who lately has been waking in the middle of the night complaining of forehead headaches. This weekend he started running a 101-101.5 fever. Once the Motrin is given he perks up. The fever may or may not return immediately once it wears off. There are no other symptoms of illness. He has always been a good sleeper so his waking in the middle of the night is atypical. This has been going on for the past month or so. I would think it is some sort of virus except that it has been going on too long. Any ideas? Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern for your son the sleep disturbances is very common after the viral infection particularly that ended up or ran with the fever, but nothing to worry about it this will come round very soon just have watch for other symptoms like nausea and sick feel, have nice day.
