Child With Frequent Stomach Pain. No Much Help From Prescribed Milk Of Megnesia. Is This Symptom Of Any Other Disease?

Good after noon Sir,
This is for my 6 yrs daughter she is frequently having stomach pain especially at morning.
We consulted a doctor and she is adviced to take Milk of megnesia.
About 4 months are over but now also she havent completely recovered.
Is it necessary to have any other treatment or is it an symptom of any other disease.
Please advice me if so.
Thank you

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
First you stop giving MIlk of magnesia, if it is chronic complain then it is better to bring the complain under investigations, because now giving symptomatic medicine is not advisable, chances of small intestine pathology is more likely it must be rule out, take care of your daughter and have nice day.
