Child's Uvula Split Into Two. Spits Out From Nose. What Happens When Start Eating Solid Food?
my daughter was born with out a uvula, we thought. now we just found out that she actually has one but it is split and looks like two small fangs in the back of her throat. it has been concerning me, because she has never spit up out of her mouth it comes out of her nose. and it chokes her and i have thought several times that my daughter was going to die in my arms. everyone keeps telling me its normal but what am i going to do when she starts eating hard food?
I have gone through your query regarding split uvula of your daughter and it is coming out through nose.
I would like to tell you that your kid is having a congenital anomaly i.e. split palate. This splitting may be complete or partial and some times associated with split lip also.
No need of worry at all your child will be treated by repair of palate & it is a very common defect. this will be manage satisfactorily by plastic surgeon.
I hope your query is answered.
Regards.
