Chills, Fever, Hot Forehead, Back And Neck Pain, Difficulty On Looking Into Light. What Do These Symptoms Indicate?

Hi there, My father is currently very I ll in bed. He has been I ll all day but my father rarely feels I ll and never asks for a doctor to come out but he just has. He feels sick, going from hot and cold , his forehead is very hot, having back pains, neck pains and says it hurts to look into any light, do you have any idea what this could be? Thank you for your time, George.

hello,
your dad needs a consultation by md physician,look for neck rigidity,i mean is neck flexion and extension possible with ease,if not these might be signs of meningitis,in that case he needs hospitalisation.
