Chronic Pain Years After Laporoscopy. Cut Across Main Artery And Patched Up. Pain Never Subside. Solution?

I had surgery 20 years ago, one of many.It was supposed to be a 45 minute laporoscopy. I woke up in ICU 8 hours later. The doctor cut a main artery and had to wait for a vascular surgeon to be flown in from another hospital. He took a vein from my ankle and patched me up.They kept telling me the pain would subside after e few years. Here I am 20 years later still in cronic pain.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Chronic pain is not due to the artery being cut.
It could be due to adhesion caused due to operation.
Adhesiolysis can help in relieving your symptoms of pain.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
