Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. You mentioned that blood clot is behind the knee joint? Very difficult to understand , what do you mean by that. Behind means outside from knee joint or on the posterior side of knee joint or below the knee joint . Is this clot outside from the muscles surrounding knee joint. It may be due to obstruction of blood flow from knee to upward ( varicose veins above knee as I noted in my one patient ). I this type of situation usually veins are dilated above tumor ( knot). 2nd thing I want to mention rub heparine cream over this clot ( if clot) and this will resolve within few days. If possible upload a picture of this clot site. Good luck. Your drug only act as an anticoagulant . Dr. HET
