Colonoscopy Showed Large Pedunculated And Polyp. What Could Be Done?

Sir I am 59 M. on 10 April i under went Colonoscopy. The report says :--"The scope was passed in to the decending colon up to the ascending colon. There is a large pedunculated polyp
in the decending colon .polypectomy was done with a snare.-- there was post procedure bleeding which was managed with APC."

I AM VERY POOR. PLEASE HELP ME WITH MEDICAL ADVISE

Hello,
It seems that yu had one polyp in in your colon which was removed.Polyps are growth occuring in inner lining of intestine.
Most of the polyps are benign meaning non cancerous and only small number are malignant(cancerous). Although they are usually non cancerous -some of them can develop into cancer in future.So they are removed during colonoscopy. Also by removing them we can get exact pathological type of your polyp.
You also need to have periodic colonoscopy in future because you have high chances of developing polyps in future.
