Comparison Between Electronic Cigarettes And Tobacco Cigarettes?
Hi, I am substituting tobacco cigarettes with electronic cigarettes. I use to smoke 50grams of rollup tobacco a week for over 10 years. I ve personally tried nicotine patches and NRT products although I personally have had much better success with ecigs... I am just wondering if you can point me to a good scientific study on how ecigs may effect your health when compared to tobacco cigarettes... Even if the study is still in the early stages... thanks, Sheldon
Comparison between cigarette and electronic cigarette is tricky. Both contains nicotine and recent studies points out the fact that nicotine in any form if gets inside the neural or venous system of human body causes serious problems, if not immediately but in later stages.
Electronic cigrette manufactures claim that as there is no smoke there is no risk. May there is no risk of carbon monoxide and other toxic gases, but still there is risk of nicotine.
There are no proper clinical trials to highlight its benefits or side effects. There are some studies which only showcases short term benefits and conveniently ignores long term problems.
Therefore it is always better to avoid both for our health. Good luck.
