Dear friend, welcome to HCM!
Did you have fever anytime?
It seems to be some respiratory infection and associated bowel disturbance.
You can consider getting an Xray chest done to see what is happening.
You should see your doctor to get evaluated for cough, chest tightness and breathlessness. there are cardiac causes as well and we need to check up physically.
Take care and please keep me informed of your progress.
Good Luck!
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily.
Thank you!
I can understand your concern for your problems. You are suffering from congestion hope you have visited a doctor and been treated. Cough can be due to weather change. Mucolytics can be of much help to you but do not take overdoses. It will worsen the symptoms.
You also have chronic problem of gastritis. You should avoid constipation to get rid of it. You need to make dietary changes. Take fresh green veggies, fruits that are rich in fiber. They will help to keep your bowels clean. Improve your toilet habits. Take plenty of pure hygienic water, soups and juices. You can consult a doctor and take laxatives and antacids. Follow the dosage strictly as prescribed.
Sometimes chest tightness can also be due to some changes in the heart. To be on the safe side have an ECG done to rule out any heart ailment. Keep your living room fresh and airy. Have a good day. Take care.
Hello I am Dr Ravinder Sharma ENT surgeon
On the basis of information provided it appears you have chest infection. It may be a viral or a bacterial infection. Your problem of gas may be related to malabsorption or infection in intestines . I would advise you for a Xray of Chest, Blood test and a physician consultation. You can take a cough suppressant or a antiallergic for relief in symptoms but make sure you visit the physician.
I hope this answers your concerns. Feel free to contact me if your need more information on this
With warm regards
