Coughing After Exposing To Hot Weather. Taking Amoxicillin, Salbutamol. Cause And Cure?
Hi,
Do changes in weather cause coughing? I'm from the Philippines and it's currently summer here, very hot weather. It's been almost 2 weeks since I had a cough, and we're not sure about the cause; my doctor prescribed Amoxicillin and Salbutamol for a week. so far, my condition has improved. but everytime I'm exposed to hot weather or not in air-conditioned room, it goes back. What could be the cause and cure for this?
I understand your concerns. It is very likely that you are having seasonal allergies if you have had such reactions to change in weather in the past. I also think that the medications that have been prescribed for you are the right medications and that you might get better if you have an overlapping infection. However, getting tested for allergies and getting your IgE levels would be appropriate to start treatment for any allergies. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
