Hi, I have a hard lump slightly larger than the size of a nickel right above my temple. I have had it for about 8 years. I was told by a doctor some years ago that it was a lipoma. But from what I've read a lipoma shouldn't be hard? The lump has never hurt. What are some other things it could be? Thanks
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. What ever it is either lipoma, or connective tissue growth, so long it is pain less, and not growing, it a benign, means, not carcinoma, and it is harmless. If it is growing and pain less, and doesn't look, good, for cosmetic purposes, you can get it excised by a surgeon. If you want to get it removed consult a surgeon. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
