Could Bleeding After Having Sex Multiple Times Followed By Intake Of Pill Indicate Pregnancy?
i have sex about two times a day for seven days , and i took 72hrs unwant on the second day of having sex then later have been taking 72hrs unwanted after every two days of sex. a day after the last pill had bleeding for 8days. Is there a chance of me getting pregnant? Pls hep Iam really worried.
Its very harmful if you take these emergency contraceptive pills repeatedly.
Since the pills contain high doses of hormones, these can disrupt the normal hormonal and period pattern causing period/bleeding abnormalities and appearance of new symptoms. Bleeding for 8 days which you had is a side effect of this drug. Chances of pregnancy are less if you have taken emergency pills within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse. Look out for development of any other new symptoms. If pregnancy is suspected, or if you miss your next periods, or if you have abnormal periods, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination. If pregnancy gets ruled out and if you are not ready for pregnancy, but intend to remain sexually active, you should consider getting started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after periods). Be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact if you are not ready for pregnancy. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest
