Could Diabetes Cause Numbness And Cramps In Legs?

In the last four weeks my feet have felt somewhat numb, my right leg feels numb and I have had bad neck pain, especially upon arising in the morning. If I did not take Motrin at night, it would keep me awake and now I am have leg cramps, which happened last night every two hours. I do have diabetes and wondered about that or could arthritis affect my legs if I have neck pain? Thanks. My age is 65 yrs.

Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic,

1. Diabetic neuropathy is a very well known condition. In long term diabetics it is quite common specially if blood sugar level is not well controlled. Neck pen can be associated with diabetes or some age related also.

You should tell to your treating doctor and take extra care for blood glucose control.
Thanks
