my father and at least one brother have had to have their esophagus stretched. I have an appoitment to see a GI Dr. on November 30th. My husband complains that my snoring has increased over the last few years, could my esophagus issue be related to the snoring?
Oesphagus is food pipe and transfers only food and this has nothing to do with snoring. However it is indirectly related in such a way that more food leads to increase weight and this is the leading cause of snoring. Other causes can be a deviated septum, enlarged tonsils, large tongue and double chins..
hope this helps
