Could Genital Yeast Infection, Fever And Cough Be Symptoms Of HIV?

I had unprotected sex in august 2012 wid prostitut...till now in November 2013 I dint hav any health issue apart from piles n genetal yeast infection..wich occurs sum tym in between and now in November I got fever n coughf..thats all nuthing els do u think i got hiv aids by ny chance

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Unprotected intercourse is a risk factor for HIV infection. Though you not yet have any manifestations, can't rule out infection.
Get tested for HIV, Screening test by ELISA should be done, And need to repeat again after 3 months( window period)
HIV infection may need time to manifest symptoms.
Avoid unprotected sexual activity, better to use barrier methods of contraception to avoid Sexually transmitted disease.
