Could Glandular Breast Pain Be Related To Cancer?

A month ago, I developed tenderness directly beneath a nipple, about at the ten-0-clock position. I initially thought that I pulled something, but just saw a general practitioner that said perhaps my pain is glandular? I recently had an augmentation on this side, and am taking Tamoxifen, following a mastectomy on the other side? I am also BRCA negative. If it is glandular, could this be cancer related?
