Could Pain From Palm To Neck Be Related To Heart Problems?
Hi,
I am 34 years old female. Lately I have been having pain in my left hand starting from palm of my hand all the way trough my neck. I also get pain in the right side of my neck. It feels sharp and it lasts no more than 4-5 seconds but it happens 4-5 times every hour. I went to doctor and had EKG and blood pressure and cholesterol test and everything was good. I am so worried that at night I can't sleep and not having a job and health insurance it makes me worry even more. Could this still be heart related or could it be some musle pain but I have never heard of muscle pain in the neck. Please help...

Dear patient,
Thanks for the query. This does not sound heart related, it definitely has features that could represent a neuropathy, for example, carpal tunnel syndrome. A visit to a neurologist would be most appropiate.
