Could Sharp Pain In Right Shoulder Be Related To The History Of Undergoing Infusion On 15?
I m a 43yr old female have a sharp pain in my right shoulder for the past month also when I use my right hand to open a bottle don t have that much strength and it hurts as well my doctor send me for x-Ray and the results was negative he also send me for a nerve conduction study can that help figure out what s wrong with my shoulder or do I need an MRI also on 2007 I had an infusion on l5 done could that be related just curious to know
I would like to get MRI and not the nerve compression as most provably either it is swelling in shoulder or a rotator cuff tear. A nerve study will be most probably normal in you and also it need needle so I would first check with MRI. if there is rotator cuff tear then treatment will depend upon size of tear. if it is complete then it will need surgery and if it is partial then physiotherapy.
