Could Smlll, Mobile, Soft Painless Bumps On Neck With History Of War Infections Indicate Lymphoma?
Hello, I had a question and this probably won't do any good asking questions online.... But, I noticed months ago pressing on my neck that there are 2 small, mobile soft bumps or lumps about size of peas.... I cannot stop messing with them and they're painless and I haven't had any weird symptoms but, every time I google it comes up lymphoma... They are so small you wouldn't even know they were there unless I press into my neck.... No insurance and I need a piece of mind. I'm 24 years old female and I'm freaking out. Please may I have some type of inquiry of what they could be. I have had war infections in past but I haven't been sick lately. Thanks Lydia
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Lymph node swelling is very common in the neck which indicates past infection and sometimes the lymph nodes remain for life. You should be worried if the lymph nodes are increasing in size, become hard to touch, become immobile and become painful. If you are not having any of these symptoms then you do not have to worry. But if you do, then you have get a biopsy done to confirm the cause of lymph node swelling. Thanks.
