Could Spitting Mucus With Blood, Burning Sensation On Right Side Of Chest Be Due To Sinus Infection?

I recently had a partial hysterectomy on Dec. 19 and I went in Wednesday 1/8 for a followup and my Dr. stated all was well and healing perfectly which may not having anything to do with my issue but very nervous. I woke up yesterday and this morning spitting up mucus and both times there was blood. I also had a little uncomfortable feeling on the right side of my chest with slight burning. Could this be maybe a sinus infection or something more?

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It may not be related to the hysterectomy, it may be due to the gastric irritation of the drugs used, hypertension, chest infection, may be old infection, or a fresh developement.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
