Could Swelling And Redness Be A Sign Of Allergic Reaction To Hair Dye?

each time i get my hair dyed i get a reaction, always a bit different each time, the last time my head swelled up in the back & i get red all around the forehead, my head feels quite itchy, this is a 24 hrs issue, i need to wash my hair many times, is this considered a allergy reaction thanks Carmie

Hi,

Thanks for using HCM.

Yes this is due to allergic reaction. You can take antihistamine drugs to reduce to reaction and avoid the dye which caused these symptoms.
