Could The Inflamed Circumvallate Papillae And Swollen Lymph Be Cancer?
hi, I have inflamed circumvallate papillae on my left side only along with ear pain and a swollen lymph the side of a small bean. I also have a lump on my right side of neck that is due for a ct tomorrow ( doctor said he s sure its nothing to worry about) but now with the earache and inflamed circumvallate papillae I m very afraid of cancer. please help me ease my mind a bit

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some bacterial infection in your mouth giving rise inflammation in mouth and enlarged painful lymph nodes in the neck.
Take one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Take some B.complex, folic acid medicines for few days.
Keep oral hygiene clean.
Ok and take care.
