Could The Irritation Be Due To The Tattoo Or From Infection After Mastectomy?

I had a bilateral mastectomy 1/2013 had ex panders removed & replaced w/silocone implants 8/2013 because caught an infection. 1/2014 had tattoo of areola done & now one breast is swollen but not hurting. Could I have an irritation from the tattoo. That s what ps thinks. Breast Center gave an antibiotic & said retun in 2 weeks to make sure cancer hasn t return. What is your take on this?
