Could The Symptoms Of Fatigue, Nausea And Mood Swings Be Due To Pregnancy Or Contraceptive Pill?
Hi, I a 21, 5ft7 and 150lbs. The first day of my last period was 8th January. I had unprotected sex 10 days later and then started taking the combined pill the day after that. For the past couple of weeks I have had various symptoms including fatigue, faint nausea, mood swings and a strange-feeling watery mouth. Could this be pregnancy or are the symptoms more likely to be side effects of the pill? Thanks.
I understand that you started the pill on day 11 after unprotected sex on day 10. The symptoms that you mention may result from pregnancy or pill as they both produce similar symptoms. The pill, if started in the middle of the cycle does not protect for the first 7 days and you also had unprotected sex, so pregnancy may be possible. Please get a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy as this is the easiest way to know about things.
