Could The White Particles Found In My Urine A Side Effect Of Taking Antibiotics And Steroids?
My 4 almost 5 yr old son has white particles in his urine. He has been taking antibiotics for 7 days and was taking steroids last week for a bronchial problem. He has also had skin rashes and loose stool, which I have attributed to the medication. I am wondering if the urine thing is also a side effect or something that could be more serious?
White particles in urine is not related to his medications. He need proper clinical examination and investigations. It may be due to urinary tract infection, renal or urinary bladder calculus etc. Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,urine RE/ME,Ultrasound of abdomen.Further investigations can be done if needed. Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
