Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Okay...Yesterday morning I was at work doing the normal things when I started having really bad pain right under my left breast. It lasted for about a minute (more or less). I shrugged it off as just one of those pains everyone gets from time to time. About 15 minutes later it was back again but lasted a little longer. This kept up for about an hour or so with the pain staying about a 6 1/2 or 7 on a scale of 1-10. During this hour my left arm started bothering me just under my bicep. Sort of running down my arm to my elbow. I started getting a pretty bad headache and was so tired and weak. I felt so sleepy afterward. The pain did go away but the entire day I felt tired and just didn t feel like myself. (lots quieter than normal and felt blah...) Today I still feel tired and my arm is still bothering me some but now its almost like my arm doesn t work like it should. EXAMPLE...To reach around my back to take off my bra..can t do it...hurts really bad. I made myself go to the gym and work out today...I go everyday I do not work (3-4 days a week) I worked out 35 minutes on the elliptical and did not have any pain. Please give honest answers. I am 40 years old and heart disease does run in my family. (my father has had 3 bypass s and 1 open heart surgery (he is a smoker) my mom has had to have the stint thing done. My grandmother died of a heart attack . Maybe I m paranoid but just wanted someone else opinion. Grandmother was in her 50 s. Dad still alive but started in his 50 s. My mom just had her problems about 3 years ago...she was in her 50 s as well. I do eat pretty good most of the time. I work out 3-4 times a week. (cardio) I had a blood work up done last year and all test showed me as perfect cholesterol perfect, tricly. perfect, only thing off a small amount was BMI should be 25 and mine was 26.3.
