Good evening, my period is 4 days late and I have had alot of cramping, pressure, bloating, frequent urination, and sensitive nipples. I'm concerned because I am 48 years old and also have a bladder sling. Otherwise, I am in great health, do Bikram yoga at least 4 days a week, in good shape, and very active. What are your thoughts?
Hello friend, First of all stop being anxious about your health condition. Delayed or irregular periods during this age is not abnormal because 48 years is a normal age for menopause. Menopause is associated with this sort of presentations due to hormonal problems. Your present problems are premenstrual symptoms, which will be over once the period starts. If you still find the symptoms as troubling and if they are to continue in future months also, try to approach an expert Homoeopathic physician for getting cure for not only your present complaints but also for preventing future complications that are likely to occur during menopause. With best wishes, Dr. C. J. Varghese
