hi i have a history of pcos last year in may i had a cyst after that doctor prescribed me contaciption pills for three months so that imy periods come on time after a year i am facing a smae problem my cycle is 35 to 40 days i am married thou we are planning for a baby i have already taken 2 hpt one on 13 day of missed period and one on 20th day of missing period today iam 21 days late for my period but i am not facing any cramps and even not having any prego symptoms other then weight gain
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. In my opinion , your treatment line is not perfect. Since you are planning for a baby , so this is a good thing ( as you are a patient of PCOS) . This time when , you have bleeding ( period ) get an ovulation ( follicular study for ovulation i.e. exact date ) test and try to conceive. As dysfunctional uterine bleeding, scanty menstruation, amennorrhea all are characteristic features of PCOS. If ovulation does not occurs than consult a fertility specialist and get his opinion.
