Delayed Periods, Trying To Conceive. Will Delayed Menstruation Hamper Pregnancy Chances?

Hello doctor, i m XXXXX.i m 28 years old working as a lecturer.since past four months my periods have been delayed by 10-15 days.There was no pregnancy at all.i m trying to get pregnant but delayed menstruation is causing me some concern. will it hamper my chances of getting pregnant???? is there any serious problem??? please help. Thank you.

Thanks for your query.
Having irregular periods is very difficult to calculate your time of ovulation.
Hence you cant know your fertile days to have intercourse with your partner.
But you can calculate your ovulation time by using:
body temperature chart
changes of vaginal discharges
ovulation kits

Many factors can affect your menstrual cycle like :
Too much stress
Change in schedule
You exercise a lot
Under or over weight

Please try to determine your fertility days .
