my father is known diabetic for almost 13 years now.he just had his left leg amputated two weeks ago. as i was cleaning his stump, i noticed some blisters on it. he had also been diagnosed to have Klebsiella peumoniae. he's taking ciptofloxacin in the morning and tamsolucin in the evening. slthough he is not complaining for any discomfort, i'm still worried about it. please help me.

Hello,

Your father is a Diabetic and he got his left leg amputated.
He is also suffering from bacterial infection for which he is taking antibiotics.
Now he has developed a small blister in the stump.
This is significant and should not be left untreated.
The overall mortality of a diabetic amputee is higher due to various reasons.
Check for any pressure sores.
Check for any underlying ulcer.
Provide proper wound care.
Revisit the doctor.
