Methylprednisolone is a glucocorticoid. It has an action opposite to that of insulin i.e. it causes an increase in blood sugar level. Hence, your blood sugar which was under control till now has shot up suddenly.
Blood sugar level of 335 is definitely a cause of worry as presence of such high levels can cause damage to the target organs like Heart, Kidneys, Peripheral nerves & Eyes. In view of the above mentioned fact, it will be advisable to get your sugar medicines adjusted. Kindly consult your treating Doctor and discuss regarding this.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
