Diabetic, Hospitalized For OT And PT. Have Got Summer Flu, Fever, No Appetite, Headaches. Suggestion?

my husband is 66, diabetic and has been hospitalized or in rehab for OT and PT since March 1st of this year. Been on ventilator twice. I believe he has gotten the summer flu from our son who ran low grade fever for last two days, body aches, no appetite, severe headache, sleepy but in too much pain to sleep well. My husband is exhibiting same symptoms BP 109/58. pulse 112..Blood sugar 457.....has insulin to take. My husband is experiencing moderate confusion. Do we need to go to ER?

Based on above symptoms confusion and very high blood sugar.
Yes you need to urgently go to ER.
Before going to ER you can give him usual prescribed dose of insulin and immediately go.
