im 24 yr.old i was diagnose to have BILATERAL POLYCYSTIC OVARY .the doctor adviced me to take metformin 500mg.i weighted 187 lbs. can i conceived a baby ?

yes u conceived but u have to reduse your weigt and taking hormonal treatment to resolve polycystic ovary..

thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.com.You have not mentioned your height even so your weight is on the higher side.PCOD is wherein both ovaries fail to release egg monthly thereby forming cysts.If no ovulation-no pregnancy.Metformin works to regulate endocrine system to ensue ovulation occurs.So please start to work on your weight by trying to be optimum weight and also take MEt regularly.All the best.
