hello doctor i had my 1st day of period on14/09/2013 n started taking diane 35 from 14/09/2013 bt my bleeding has not stopped. I am diagnosed with PCOS n will be gettng married in 2 mnths.I am very worried with all this. Plz suggest me a good treatment so that every thing gets cured n I may conceive soon.
Hello, well from the history you have given, if your bleeding still persist you have to consult your gynaecologist to take measures to stop the bleeding...you have to take an antifibrinolytic like tranaxemic acid to stop, as heavy bleeding can detoriate your health.....pcos is a very common cause of irregular periods. ..Not necessary that all women having pcos have difficulty in conceiving.....If you are obese you need to reduce your weight....Also pcos will cause insulin resistance,metformin may be required in those circumstances. ....Ideally people with pcos will be given hormonal supplementation for 3 to 6 cycles less to regularise the cycle....hope i was helpful to you. ....
