Diagnosed With A Cyst In The Ovary. Bleeding, Pain And Clotting. Have Mirena IUD. Advised Not To Remove. Second Opinion

Hi My 19yr old daughter had an ultrasound today and they found a cyst on her left ovary measing 65 x 50 x 52 mm, she has been in a lot of pain and had bleeding, clotting, the gynae she saw today said he cannot remove until 2 weeks, she currently has a mirena iucd and this shouldnt be happening, is it safe to wait or should I get a second opinion?

I understand your concern for your daughter. Although there was a cyst found in the left ovary, I believe that it is a treatable condition and you need to consult a gynecologist who can give you a second opinion.
