As you said correctly, you are an 'at risk' individual for cardiovascular disease one because you have high blood pressure and two because you have family history of CAD. The anti hypertensive medications (given for blood pressure control) are not enough for you for optimum blood pressure control. So high BP is just because you are not treated optimally. Go to a good physician or a Cardiologist, to get your doses titrated. they might also add another good antihypertensives for you. Please do not go on your symptoms that in spite of high BP you are feeling better, as you need to treat the blood pressure to avoid any untoward event. When you say your immunity is low, does that mean you get skin infections, cough/ cold, urinary tract infections quite often? if so then first get general blood work up done i.e. Hb, Total Count, Differential Count, ESR and urine routine and microscopy tests. Wish you good luck.
