Diagnosed With Prolapsed Inter-vertebral Disc. Now Feeling Weakness & Numbness In Leg. Did Physiotherapy. Not Helping. Treatment?
Hi, I am 26 year old male. I was diagnosed with a prolapsed intervertebral disc at L5-S1 3 years back. After 6 months of diagnosis I started feeling weakness and numbness in left leg. With physiotherapy and medication it got better but not 100% fine. Now after 3 years I am having the same numbness and pain in right leg. Please suggest
hello Your complaints of pain and numbness can be explained on the basis of prolapsed disc. If it has reoccurred you need to get MRI of your lumbo sacral spine to look out for the increase in severity of the prolapse disc. The medicine which can help you out is Tab Pregabalin 75 mg. Start it once daily and increase it to twice daily after a week time.
