Diagnosed With Typhoid And Has Low Blood Pressure Along With Early Period. Been Asked To Take Salt Solution. Why Is It Early?

My wife's menses came 12 days after she completed her regular period. Earlier she was diagnosed of having typhoid and low blood pressure. Consequently she was advised to take salt solution to address the low blood pressure and was placed on treatment (injection) for typhoid. on the second day of treatment, surprisingly she felt something like menstrual pain just 12 days after completing a period and by night she saw blood commencing another menstruation 12 days after completing one.

Hello sir and welcome.

The female body and physiology is indeed complicated. The slightest chance from nirmalcy can disrupt various processes taking place in the body, result in hormonal imbalances and menstrual irregularities.

I would not worry about the early periods, as they are only due to the recent typhoid infection, and should return back to normal once she regains good health.

Keep her hydrated in the meantime. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
