My son is 16 months old, we came to India from US about one and quarter month ago. He is suffering from diarrhea for about a week. Though his stools are not watery just loose like an apple pulp. I was giving him z & d to control his motions, but he still has a loose stool and today morning I saw bright red blood streaks mixed with his loose stool. Wondering what might cause it? Is it serious? He had watery black diarrhea couple of weeks ago, had a blood test done and was on antibiotics. His motion was then controlled, he had a regular stool for 10 days after completion of his antibiotics.
