Difficult To Breath For 1 Minute. Happened Twice. Chain Smoker. What Do I Do?
Hi Docter, I had this couple of occasions when i found really hard to find my breath. First one was like three months back, I could not find my breath for like one 1 minute and after that everything seemed fine. the second occasion was today. I found it really difficult to breath it was kind of blackout for couple of seconds after some hard physical work. I used to some some 20 to 30 cigarette a day, now i smoke like 10 or more a day. I m 23, male.
Smoking is bad and 20 to 25 cigarette per day is really bad. Shortnesss of breath is definitely due to sedentey life styles and habits.
Body needs lots and lots of oxygen to maintain itself. We get oxygen through nose and lungs. Hard work needs more oxygen when compared to normal work. Nicotine slowly reduces the capacity of lung oxygen receivers nd slowly kills them, thereby reducing the oxygen absorption.
Result re bronchitis, bronchial asthma or even cancer. You are just 23 and this is the right time to stop smoking because body might take 6 to 12 months o fully repir the body. Then you can be as healthy as before. Consult a general physician to be doubly sure. Get well soon.
