I understand your concern
You need a detailed evaluation to understand the cause of the sleep problem. This can be due to stress, tension,
anxiety and other coexistent medical problems. Before you start medications for these issues, I feel that you need a detailed examination to establish the diagnosis.
In the mean time adequate
sleep hygiene is required i.e. go to bed when you feel sleepy, go to bed at a particular time of the night, avoid coffee at night, use the bed room only for sleep. If these fail medications like
Zolpidem will help
