Discomfort And Pain In Lower Abdomen, Constipation, Pain In Lower Back And Groin. Missed Ovaries In TV Scan. Suggsest

I am female, aged 52

I have had lower abdominal discomfort since February, it's on right side, blood tests and scans are unremarkable, suffer constipation, pain does not go when I have been to the toilet.

more recently I am feeling the pain/discomfort round my left side, lower back and groin.

When I had TV scan my ovaries could not be found.

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

This sounds like it might not be a GYN problem. Given the migratory nature of the pain and the associated symptom of constipation, I think that this might be a GI issue. Go see a GI specialist and make sure you have an updated colonoscopy. It is normal to not see your ovaries on scan at 52 years of age.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
