Discomfort In Back. Sonography, Urine Analysis Done. What Does The Report Indicate?

rbc 3 - 5/hpf, pus cells 4 - 6/hpf, epithelial cells 2 - 4/hpf , specific gravity 1.01 in urine, colour - watery, appearance - clear, deposit - absent, reaction - alkaline, albumin , sugar, acetone, casts, crystals, amorphous deposit, bacteria, mucus threads, bile salts, bile pigment ---- all ABSENT, occult blood - negative in urine specimen - random sample , qty : 20ml what does this urine analysis report mean. I got a sonography done for abdomen and pelvic, covering liver, kidneys, prostrate, stomach, but it showed no stones. Also I used to feel slight discomfort, not even pain, in my back n so had gone to consult my gp who suggested urine, fyi.

The urine test result is satisfactory. No definite pathology seen.
The sonography report is also normal.
Both the report is within normal limit.

Hi dear thanks for your question on HCM,your urine examination is by and large normal ,except the for the RBC AND PUSS CELL which are abnormal.Your ultrasound report is normal,especially for stone,dear ,small stones which are in ureter are not picked up by ultrasound,as most part of ureter lies ,in retroperitoneum,a portion of abdomen,not easily picked by ultrasound,the second thing ,which is important is how was preparation for ultrasound,and was man who performed the ultrasound ,competent enough,however,ureteric stone produce colicky abdominal pain which you don't have and last of all you could have urinary tract infection without a stone,which is giving you abdominal pain.relax take a course of antibiotic like leofloxcicin, you will be all right.hope you will be benifitted from this answer
