Dizziness And Vomit, Puffy Hands, Short Of Breath. What Is Wrong?

my dad was taken to the hospital by ambulance two days ago for dizziness not being able to stand and vomiting blood if stand up gets very dizzy his face and hands are buffy and gets short of breath after talking or moving has hd blood work and a ct scan ll came bck clear noone can tell us whats wrong can you please help

Thanks for writing in.

Dizziness needs a complete evaluation of his nervous system. CT scan is an investigation which tells us about the brain injury due to stroke. If its normal, blood supply from neck to brain also need evaluation by Doppler scan of carotid and vertebral arteries.

His blood glucose levels also need evaluation. Heart condition requires screening by ecg and echocardiography.

Bleeding may be from stomach. A correct history of blood in vomiting must be evaluated and causes in esophagus or stomach assessed.
