Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
From the details provided, few important possibilities that I can think of causing
dizziness are:
1. BPPV: caused by problems in the
inner ear. Its symptoms are repeated episodes of positional
vertigo which is a spinning sensation caused by changes in the position of the head. This typically occurs in the morning and last for few secs. But makes u dizzy again with change of position.BPPV can be diagnosed by doing a simple bedside test called Dix Hallpike test preferably by Vertigo specialist. If positive, most effective treatment is a procedure called "Epley's maneuver,"
2.Dizziness or vertigo is a common complaint among migraineurs, and can be seen in one third of them suffering from migraine. It can occur with or without headache. Response to migraine medication is the only way to prove the diagnosis.
3. It could also be the first episode of Meniere's disease which makes u feel dizzy, nauseated and exhausted.
4. Get your BP checked considering your age
It is advisable to meet the
ENT specialist to verify the exact cause of the dizziness, he might do basic examination and audiological evaluation and determine the cause. It is important to rule out other causes so a
MRI maybe asked.
I thank you again for the query. I hope you found my response to be helpful and informative. I you have any additional concerns I would be happy to address them.
Regards.
