Do I Need Medical Examination After Going Through This Report?

My SED rate is 80...CRP is 28...I have a history of UC with a full colectomy and jpouch...recurrent pouchitis...and newly diagnosed PSC! I emailed my doc when I got these blood results...as they are the highest they have been whenever I was seen at this one hospital...what should I do?

Hi and thank you so much for this query

I am so sorry to hear about these disease conditions and the elevated laboratory findings. They are all elevated and abnormal. They are inflammatory markers. You would need to be reviewed to identify the origin of this inflammation and manage appropriately. Schedule a visit with your regular doctor t get this checked out. It could be related to pouchitis, PSC or something else.

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health.
