Do Disc Bulges, Stenosis And Neural Formaminal Narrowing Cause Back Pain?

i have mild canal stenosis and mild right neural foramina narrowing at L4-5 secondary to right disc bulge and posterior element hypertrophy. l3/l4 diffuse disc bulge without spinal canal etc...same at l5/s1 and l4/l5 assymmetric right disc bulge with mild spinal canals stenosis and mild right neural foraminal narrowing. The MRI description you have given can cause lower back pain. The disc bulge and the posterior element hypertrophy can press on the nearest exiting nerve and cause pain and other symptoms like weakness and numbness along its distribution. If the pain gets severe I would suggest consulting a physician for initiation of pain medication and further management.
